Waialae Beach Park is a great place for picnics with a large grassy park area near the stream mouth. Located across from Kāhala beach, this park is a great recreational area for park and water activities. It has a small public parking lot, street parking, toilettes, showers, drinking fountain, and picnic tables. No lifeguard on duty.
Waialae Beach Park is popular amongst surfers, paddlers, swimmers, and beach goers. Protected from most large swells and currents, the shoreline is calm.
Water samples are collected by Surfrider every other week.
