There is no shortage of activities at this sandy beach in York, Maine. Though tucked away, this beach is still a popular destination for swimming, sunbathing, and visiting the nearby shops, restaurants, arcade, and bowling alley. Metered parking is available next to the beach. There are restrooms and showers for rinsing off after your swim. Lifeguards are on duty daily at Short Sands Beach from the end of June until early September.
