Woodcliff Park in Baiting Hollow is a small cottage community. Access to the Woodcliff Park beach is located at the end of Oakleigh Avenue. Most of the cottage owners lease the land from Woodcliff Park's owner, Benjamin Karlin. Cottage owners pay taxes to the Town of Riverhead. Cottage owners return in mid-April to open up their summer homes, plant flowers in their small gardens, join their neighbors for beach parties, and put in the beach rowboats just below the Woodcliff Park bluffs until October rolls around. The atmosphere here is laid-back and has a "summer camp flavor." This is a Tier III beach.
