This beach is located in Winslow Park, a park and campground in Freeport, Maine. The park is a great place for picnicking, launching boats, kayaking, On Thursday evenings during the summer, you can enjoy live music. There is an admission fee for day-use of the beach and park. Pets are permitted in the park, but not on the beach. Swimming conditions are best on a high tide.

The beach is monitored for water quality by Freeport Beach Manager, Neil Lyman.
