Wilson's Bay is located in Cape Vincent, New York and faces Lake Ontario. Cape Vincent is a popular tourist destination because it is the location at which Lake Ontario becomes the St. Lawrence River. Wilson's Bay is a sandy beach that typically sees West/Southwest winds. There is usually a moderate amount of Cladophora algae at the beach which sometimes leads to spikes in E. coli levels. Swimmers are encouraged to check for the presence of Cladophora algae before swimming.
