Whitney Lakes Provincial Park has many beaches. One is located on Whitney Lake and is perfect for day users; three beaches are located in Ross Lake campground. The beaches have an abundance of white, natural sand, and shallow, clear waters. The area is teeming with unique bird and plant life as well as some historically significant trails.

The beaches are very family friendly with playgrounds, boat launches and all of the necessary day use and camping amenities. Ross Lake is among the best beaches in Alberta according to some visitor reports.
