All the Bronx beaches are mostly private and this club is no exception. The White Cross Fishing Club is located at the end of Clarence Avenue in Schuylerville in the Bronx, New York. The private beach looks out over City Island, like all the beaches on the strip. This club accepts new members, but it requires applicants to be sponsored by a current member in good standing. Like many other private clubs that want to maintain their exclusivity, this club does not have a public website. One member described it as "a strip of heaven that we try to keep secret."
