Westwood Lake (South)
Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada
To supply power to the area, a dam was constructed on Darough Creek in 1908 and it created Westwood Lake. The sandy beach makes this a popular swimming spot, located only 5 km west of Nanaimo. There are plenty of trails for hiking and biking, including a loop trail.
Dogs must be on-leash in the park.
