Choctawhatchee Riverkeeper until recently never collected a sample at this site which had E. coli high enough to create a concern.

The West Fork from near the mouth of Judy Creek to about 1/2 mile upstream of this site is classified for fish and wildlife and lacks a swimming use designation despite historical recreational use. This appears to violate the Clean Water Act.
