Weracoba Creek at Lakebottom Park

Lakebottom Park is located in Columbus, GA. This park is highly trafficked by locals and is used for many recreational purposes including walking. There is a walking trail around the perimeter of the park and a number of baseball, softball, and football fields available for use. Weracoba Creek runs through the entirety of the park and is used by people and their pets for wading.

E.coli samples are collected each week by Chattahoochee Riverkeeper. The sampling site is located at the top of the park near the pedestrian bridge that leads from the walking trail to the playground.
