Wapasu Lake

Wapasu Lake is near Innisfree, Alberta and is often home to migrating swans among other wildlife. Wapasu is a cree word meaning White Swan. The area around the lake is Wapasu Conservancy Park and features an expanding system of hiking trails. Among these trails is a path to a high point that offers a nice view of the lake and surrounding area.
This is a remote little lake with a natural feel which creates a great place for those seeking a quiet day getaway.
