Located within a city-owned park, Walnut Beach boasts a wildlife preserve, a swimming beach, a playground, and volleyball courts. The park hosts a number of events during the summer, including the annual “Wine and Walleye Festival.”

This beach is sampled 3 times per week during the monitoring season.
