Wallace Marine Park is a 114.5 acres park located directly in West Salem.

This urban beach and park is a focal point for water sport enthusiasts. A boat ramp and floating boat docks bring hundreds of visitors access to the Willamette River. Amenities include Boat Launch, Sports fields, drinking water and picnic areas.

The gravel beach is extremely popular with the locals and is quite child friendly with slow moving current and shallows for wading. This being said it can be a VERY crowded place on the hot days of summer!

This site is sampled twice monthly from June 1 through October 1 and monthly from October 2- May 30
