Rotorua located in the Taupo Volcanic Zone, one of the most geothermic regions in the world. The waters are usually warm and often described as a "Thermal Wonderland". This meter deep stream provides beautiful swimming, boating and fishing experience. Just be prepared to have a few fish rub against you while swimming. The Waiteti Stream is a premier trout fishing stream with direct access to Lake Rotorua. Downstream from the Ngongotaha Road Bridge and at the mouth of the river provide the best fishing experiences in the winter months.
