Vilano Beach is situated on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, with the intercoastal waterway flowing along the western edges of the area. Vilano Beach entertains beach driving, fishing, beachcombing and surfing. Porpoise Point is known for its wildlife viewing opportunities and is in close proximity. Lifeguards are seasonal. Over 70% of sea turtle nesting occurs on Florida’s beaches, and such seasonal occurrences may affect access/use to areas.
