Veterans Memorial Park is a Peconic Bayfront park located at the end of Bay Avenue in Mattituck. Features include pavilion buildings, a large parking area, restrooms, showers, picnic area, a playground with swings, a bocce court, a shuffleboard court, and a horseshoe pitch. Lifeguards are on duty during summer months. Beach wheelchairs are available. There is a Community Room available for meetings and events. The picnic and barbeque area located on the west side has water and electricity, restrooms, picnic tables, and on-site parking and is available for residential use. Beach entrance by car during summer months requires a resident season pass ($5 per year) or a day guest pass ($15 per car). These can be obtained from the beach attendant located at the entrance. This is a Tier III beach.
