The Venetian Shores Park is located at the end of Venetian Boulevard and features a Great South Bay beach in the Village of Lindenhurst. This is a resident-only beach and requires a resident recreation permit for entrance, although for $15 anyone can come and use the facilities. The park offers an interactive spray park known as the Venetian Shores Sprayground, which is great for kids, as well as a waterfront oasis during the hot summer days. The waterfront location makes Venetian Shores even more scenic than most spraygrounds. After playing in the falling water here, you can walk over to the beach and take a dip in the Great South Bay. It also offers a playground, restrooms, picnic area, a snack bar and a restaurant, a large parking lot, boat slips for docking, three tennis courts and other athletic fields. Come on the weekends and enjoy some live music from local bands! This is a Tier I beach.
