Twin Beaches (Lake Manitoba)
Oak Point, Manitoba, Canada

Situated on the narrow strip dividing Lakes Fracis and Manitoba, Twin Lakes Beach (aka Twin Beaches) was first settled by the Metis. The land is fertile and surrounded by trees and forest. On one side, Lake Fracis is fairly small and composed of maily marsh and wetlands; on the other, Lake Manitoba is long, wide, shallow and home to a variety of fish and waterfowl.
This beach, or joint beaches, is not officially closed but the Lake Manitoba Association have warned the public to enter at thier own discretion due to the severe flooding in 2011.
