Turkey Creek- Below Falls
Pinson, Alabama, United States

TCNP is a 466 acre Forever Wild property located in Pinson, Alabama, only 15 miles north of Birmingham. The Preserve is home to some of the most stunning and unique beauty found anywhere in the Southeast. It was established through a partnership between Alabama’s Forever Wild Program and the Freshwater Land Trust and is co-managed by the Southern Environmental Center (SEC) and the State Lands Division.
Admission is free and there are many activities possible in the Preserve. In summer the most popular is swimming in the Blue Hole, playing along the rippling creek, or sliding down the natural water slide at the falls. Picnicking is allowed but charcoal grills are not. There are Port-o-lets and changing rooms at the Falls.
