Tribune Bay Provincial Park is known as "Little Hawaii" due to its white sandy beaches, tropical feel, and paradise-like essence. This beach located roughly five minute stroll away from the "downtown" area of Hornby island is a great place for all summer activities. Sandy beaches and warm waters give plenty of reasons for swimmers to take the plunge and canoes and kayaks can access this park as well. Dogs are not allowed on this beach and there are other zero tolerance policy for alcohol consumption, camp fires and camping. There is a picnic shelter with picnic tables available at this beach along with regular picnic tables, and there is also a change house along with several several pit toilets.

BC Parks has a warning about drinking water hand pumps being removed from the park, but this was based on a 2008 boil water advisory due to high coliforms. Because this site has not been updated, please check with the park before drinking from hand pumps in the park.
