The Theodore Roosevelt Park is a small local beach located in the town of Oyster Bay. The park has something for everyone: bike and roller blade paths, tennis and handball courts for those who don’t like sunbathing and swimming, picnic and barbecue areas for families and friends who have come to enjoy a meal together, and a playground for the little ones.

Although the beach can become packed on the weekends, there is plenty of open space for you to soak up the sun, and watch the sailboats out on the bay.

For those coming in from the city of from elsewhere, the LIRR station is located only a few feet away from the park. Non-residents coming by car should be aware that the cost per day for parking at the beach is $10.
