This monitoring location received some of the lowest water quality test results from 2012-2013. Signs were posted to avoid contact for 28 consecutive days and prompted an investigation. The area is used primarily for kayaking and canoeing.

The Riverside park is situated in the heart of Blenheim and attracts many visitors. It is part of a wider reserve which runs alongside the Taylor River. The reserve is popular for dog walking, jogging, biking or strolls alongside the Taylor River.
