The beach at Swash and 5th Avenue North lies within the small community of Surfside Beach. Surfside Beach has 2 miles of beach to offer its visitors in a family-friendly environment. In addition to the beach, the community has many restaurants and entertainment options. Paid parking is available at parking lots along the beach. For your convenience there are restrooms and showers at various access points along the beach. Wheelchair accessibility is at 3rd Avenue North, Surfside Pier, and Melody Lane. Lifeguards are on duty along the beach. If you plan on surfing, please note that it is only allowed at designated areas. Pets are not permitted between May and September.
