Mt. Sunapee State Park is located in Newbury, NH. The 4,085 acre lake at Mt.Sunapee State Park Beach is an ideal spot for family and group outings. A boat launch is available with some restrictions. Boat rentals are available. Situated about a mile from the beach, the campground offers lean-to and platform sites for family camping in a natural setting. Notice: Due to the popularity of Mount Sunapee State Park's beach area on nice weekends and holidays, the beach will most likely sell-out in the morning hours. Once the beach area reaches capacity additional beach goers cannot be admitted due to safety concerns. Admission is $5 for adults; $2 for children ages 6-11; children ages 5 and under and NH residents age 65 and over are admitted free. Season passes are available.
