Stony Brook University’s School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences spearheads some of the most impressive marine research in the state of New York at it’s Southampton Campus. Surfrider Foundation is partnered with SoMAS Southampton to run their water quality Lab at Southampton. The Boat Ramp is located in the Marine Station’s Marina, which is home to a fleet of research vessels.
