This beautiful white sandy beach stretches along along Stanmore Bay connecting Vipond Strand to Stanmore Bay Park. The beaches picnic tables are often shaded by P?hutukawa's, also known as New Zealand Christmas Trees due to the crimson flowers that bloom around the holidays. A public boat launch, ample parking, and nearby public bus stops make this beach easily accessible.

Dogs are prohibited on the beach from the 1st Sunday in October - the 3rd Sunday in March from 9am-7pm
