Best recognized by the tall wooden surfboard mounted on a pole half way to the water, Old Town Beach is one of the Southampton Village beaches. Old Town Beach is located at the intersection of Old Town Road and Gin Lane. Access to this beach requires a parking permit from May 15th to September 15th. There are no lifeguards on this beach, and porta potties are located in the parking lot during the summertime. There is also a 4x4 access spot. Be mindful – if the drainpipe from Old Town Pond is open and flowing to the ocean, the beach is closed!
