The six miles stretching along the relatively uncrowded Atlantic coast provides enthusiasts with fishing, swimming, beachcombing and surfing. Access points with boardwalks and dune crossovers may be found along A1A, with off street parking areas located to the south of the City’s Pier. The Municipal Pier is known as a fishing hot spot, with a bait and tackle shop on premises. The Pier also houses a restaurant. Swimmers, surfers and boaters are not to be disappointed. Lifeguards are on duty but may be seasonal in some areas. Onsite amenities vary by access points and may include picnic shelters and restrooms.
