The Silver Sands Motel in Greenport is a beautiful motel and beach cottage resort located directly on Peconic Bay, with a magnificent view of Shelter Island. Silver Sands has 36 private acres, making it the largest bayfront resort on the North Fork. Enjoy the unspoiled, private, sandy beaches, woods, and nature preserve where the endangered Osprey comes to nest. The beaches are the best anywhere for swimming, sailing, fishing, and boating. This beach is centrally located amidst great restaurants, shopping, vineyards, and nightclubs. Visit the Splish Splash Water Park nearby, or the Foxwood Casino that's just a high-speed ferry ride away. This is a great resort to visit year-round as there is something to offer during any season. This is a Tier III beach.
