One of Smithtown’s three main beaches, this North Shore beach is shorter and more compact than Long Beach, with sand flats at low tide. It has beautiful campgrounds and is a great place to camp, picnic, golf, boat, swim, kayak, canoe, fish, or white-water paddle. It features a boat ramp (permit only), marina, fishing area, restrooms, showers, sailing and motorboat opportunities, playgrounds for kids, and windsurfing lessons. There is a large parking lot and lifeguards are on duty daily from 9am to 5pm during summer months. This is a Tier II beach.
