The beautiful Shoal Lake has multiple beaches at different locations. On the north side, there is a campsite and a dock. The south side in Marshall Chambers Park has a sandy beach known locally as Burlington Beach. Along the beach there is a public beach with washrooms, a playground, and a boat launch. Boating is permitted on the lake, as well as fishing and paddling. There are public washrooms and shower facilities nearby at Lakeview Park.
