The Shem Creek Boat Landing is an unassuming boat ramp, tucked off from Coleman Blvd. However, it is a popular spot for kayaking and SUPing, and home to several outfitters, including Nature Adventure Outfitters and Coastal Expeditions, that offer guided tours of the creek and Crab Bank. With free parking in a substantially sized parking lot, accessible parking, and an ADA accessible floating dock, Shem Creek Boat Landing is a great place for anyone to explore the wonders of Shem Creek!

Shem Creek begins in Mount Pleasant near the intersection of Highway 17 and 526. The creek slowly meanders past several residential neighborhoods before reaching the Coleman Blvd. bridge. Past the bridge the creek is lined with a mix of restaurants, bars, public docks, private residences, and commercial fishing docks.
