Shelter Point Regional Park is a popular beach-front day-use park and campground located on Texada Island. The park is broken down into the main campground and the Bella Maria campground. qathet Regional District proudly operates this family-friendly park. Onsite caretakers Kevin Wilson and Lisa Alcos are available to assist with visitor’s needs. The park is open for camping year-round, though many of the facilities are only available during the summer camping season.

This park has many facilities available: washrooms with hot showers, picnic area, parking, volleyball and campsites. There is a sandy beach and a rocky promontory accessible at low tide. It is good for fishing and clamming as well.
