Seal Harbor beach is a public, sandy beach located on Mount Desert Island. There is some parking, but there is also a shuttle bus that provides service to the beach. Restrooms are available. Seal Harbor, part of the municipality of Mount Desert, has become a popular summer destination, but this beach is frequented by locals and visitors.

The water quality at this beach is monitored by the Town of Mount Desert Beach Manager, Durlin Lunt.
