The Sea Gate Beach Club is a private family beach and pool club paradise located in Brooklyn, New York. It is the only private beach in Brooklyn. The community of Sea Gate is a private community comprised of mostly single family homes that lies to the west of Coney Island. Kids can participate in a wide range of supervised activities including swimming, sports, arts and crafts projects, water and beach volleyball, sand sculpture contests, paddle tennis, pie and watermelon eating contests, face painting, tye-dying, candybay bingo, hula hoop contests and talent shows. Poolside and beach cabanas are available for relaxing, enjoying your lunch, reading a book or socializing. The club also features an olympic sized swimming pool, a fabulous tiki bar, a Roman style steam bath, Tae Kwon Do on the beach, and a restaurant. Summer season is from May 26 until September 3 and new members are welcome.
