On a hot summer day you'll find a flock fellow swimmers enjoying the Sandy River. The beach is located just upstream from the Sandy's mouth where it spills into the Columbia River at the western gateway to the Columbia River Gorge. Also enjoy the adjacent Lewis and Clark State Park and public boat launch.

Amenities: restrooms and picnic tables at Lewis and Clark State Park.

Columbia Riverkeeper volunteers have adopted this site for baseline monitoring once a month. This site is not currently monitored for E.coli contamination.
