Sandy Hook Beach is on Lake Winnipeg, the sixth largest lake in North America. Sandy Hook Beach sits between Winnipeg Beach and the town of Gimli. It is a small community on west side of Lake Winnipeg with a long, white sand public beach. Swimming is unsupervised.The ideal beach for golf lovers, as the best Manitoba golf courses are located 20 minutes away. There is an RV park at the beach, which also has a playground and pool.
