This site was last sampled by the Lower Rogue Watershed Council on 9/13/22. During 2022 this site consistently met the OR standard for water contact safety.

Agness, OR is 32 miles inland from Gold Beach. Water sampling occurs on private land at Cougar Lane Lodge. There are several access points on public land in the Agness area.

Directions: From HWY 101, turn east on Jerry’s Flat Rd (also known as the USFS 33 road), drive approximately 27 miles inland.

Amenities: Cougar Lane Lodge is on the Rogue River with a general store open year round for gas, propane, food, snacks, beer, wine, etc.
