Rockwood Conservation
Rockwood, Ontario, Canada
The Rockwood conservation area is a beautifully unique site; glacial potholes, limestone cliffs, old ruins and calm waters attract a large number of visitors annually. Canoeing and Kayaking are among the most popular activities in the conservation area. You can bring your own craft and put it in at the end of the beach or at the Harris Mill Ruins. Anglers can expect to catch brown trout, bullheads, carp, large and smallmouth bass. There is a sandy beach area marked with buoys to indicate shallow swimming waters. The beach is not supervised by lifeguards. Hiking trails can be accessed from the beach and mill ruins.
