BEACH INFO:

Alpha Lake Beach is located in the Creekside neighbourhood of Whistler, British Columbia. It is a well known spot for recreational fishing as both Kokanee and Rainbow Trout can be caught in the lake.

Alpha Lake is also known for ‘The Alpha Lake Rope Swing.’ To get to the swing, park at Alpha Lake beach and walk along the train tracks until you come across the trail to the swing. The rope is not for the faint of heart, and has been torn down and resurrected many times. The drop to the water is far, and the swing itself requires its users to dodge trees in mid-air. The Alpha Lake Rope Swing is recommended for experienced rope-swingers only!

Alpha Lake is a dog friendly park and has many amenities, including: a sandy beach, a kid’s playground, tennis and volleyball courts and public BBQ’s.
