Quaker Neck Landing is located on the Chester between Shippens Creek and Jarretts Creek. Quaker Neck has a cement ramp for launching motorized boats and a pier for loading and unloading only. Adjacent to the dock is a long beach for swimming and playing in the sand and launching kayaks and canoes. Paddlers can explore the calmer waters in the surrounding creeks or venture upstream towards the Chester River where there is stronger current and winds. There is a small gravel parking lot for 12 cars. A Kent County trailer permit is required. A portable toilet is available at the site.
