Puerto Nuevo Beach is a Blue Flag beach for the 2021 season.*

This golden sand beach features calm waters ideal for swimming and relaxing due to rock outcroppings that protect the beach from rough northern swells. On the west side of the beach however, more wave action can be found if desired. The beach also features lifeguards, picnic tables, bathrooms, parking, showers, a playground and food stands.

*A Blue Flag beach is one that meets strict water quality and safety criteria. These beaches are certified annually as being clean, accessible, eco-friendly, and having great water quality!
