Standing Bacteria Alert: Swimming should be avoided for several days after heavy rainfall as bacterial levels are strongly affected by such events.

SITE INFORMATION

Point Hut Crossing is a shady picnic area with good access to sandy beaches for sunbaking, swimming or launching a canoe. The beach on the North/Western side of Point Hut Crossing is DOG-FRIENDLY.

Facilities include:

•Toilets

•Picnic tables

•Off leash and on leash dog exercise areas

•Fishing

•Swimming

•Canoe entry point

•Walking trail

There are no bins provided, please take your rubbish home and recycle.

Be aware that phone reception is not reliable throughout the Murrumbidgee River Corridor. Do not depend on your phone for safety or directions.
