Plum Coulee Reservoir (Sunset Beach)
Plum Coulee, Manitoba, Canada
The town reservoir was revamped in 2004; drained, cleaned, and re-filled with sand and water. Docks were set up, sun shelters were erected, and hundreds of trees were planted, among them the town's trademark wild plum trees. The beach, now known as Sunset Beach, is now one of the town's most popular summer hotspots. The beach is also connected to Plum River via a groomed trail ideal for walking or biking.
