BEACH INFO:

Piper's Lagoon Beach is located near Nanaimo, BC. It is a great place for hiking, dog walking, bird watching, windsurfing and sightseeing. Along the 2km loop trail there are viewing benches to sit and relax while taking in the breathtaking views of the Georgia Strait and Coastal Mountains. The pebbly beach on the lagoon side of the dyke is good for beachcombing, as is the beach that emerges when the tide is out on the opposite side of the dyke.
