BEACH INFO:

Peter Hope Lake in the Thompson-Nicola, in the heart of the High Country.

A large campsite is on the north side of the lake (closer to the west end), and may be busy on weekends, so it's advised to get there early. Camping is semi-rustic. According to BC Adventure, the lake bottom is a rich marl with broad areas of shoal and sunken islands. You can find rainbow trout here.
