Pennoyer Park is a city park located on the western shore of Lake Michigan, close to to the Wisconsin/Illinois border. The beach at Pennoyer Park is sandy, and the Pike Bike Trail extends the length of the park. The park also has four public tennis courts and a bandshell where many local events are held. The Kenosha Pops Concert Band plays at the park for free every Wednesday during the summer.
