Peninsula Beach, also known as Marina Play Cove, sits at the entrance of the Ventura Harbor. The harbor was created in 1963 to provide anchorage for personal and working vessels. The harbor now serves as a recreational area only. This beautiful sandy beach is protected from strong ocean waves making it an ideal swimming beach, especially for families.
