At this site there is a launch ramp, boating, kayaking and fishing. Swimming at the beach nearby is prohibited but casual contact with the water has been observed.

Hudson Riverkeeper has sampled at this location since 2008 from May through October. Monthly testing is not frequent enough to make a safe swimming determination. Riverkeeper is advocating for high frequency testing and data reporting along the Hudson River wherever the public swims, boats and fishes.
