Oregon Inlet is a campground located within Cape Hatteras National Park. The sandy beach is close to the inlet which is a dynamic body of water that flows between the northern Outer Banks and Hatteras Island. Campgrounds are separated from the beach by barrier dune but are perfect for swimming. Visitors are reminded to use official trails when crossing the sensitive dunes. Access Ramp #4 is located nearby this campground. The campground has restrooms, cold showers, drinking water, tables, and grills.
